Go about 10 miles west of Laurens on Highway 76. Turn left on the county road 3/8 mile west of South Raburn Creek. About 1/2 mile turn left again. The cemetery is a little north of the road 1/2 mile from your last turn. R. (Robertson?) Emens, died Dec. 24, 1856, age 23 M. (Mary?) J. Emens, died 1852 (or 1857) A. (Abraham) Bolt 3rd, died Aug. 1849, age 37 A. (Abraham) Bolt Jr., died Sept. 14?, 1855 M. (or N.) Bolt 3 unreadable stones. One is - Abraham Bolt*, born Fauquier County, Va., 24 Aug. 1764 - died Laurens County, S.C. 1839 He was a Revolutionary soldier and owned this land S. Mc (extremely old) Lewvicy Mahon, consort of B. (Bailey) Mahon, died age 57 years. She was a Methodist. M., died 1801 Anna Tollison, died Dec. 18, 1850, age 3 years, 6 months Mary Tollison, died Feb. 10, 1866? Elizabeth Lindley, died June 30, 1847, age 1 year, 14 days E. L. (Lindley?), died July 1847 John C. Calhoun, S.C. Militia Revolutionary War, died Dec. 28, 1842?, age 81 years There is also a large unreadable cradle tomb and other field stone markers on graves

The Abraham Bolt Cemetery
is located on private land, the Tollison farm in Hickory Tavern, Laurens
County, South Carolina. Each year before the Bolt Family Reunion, Bolt
cousins gather at the cemetery to clean out the briars, weeds, et.al.
