First, I'd like to dedicate the boltancestry.com website
to my Daddy, Thomas L. Bolt, 1926-2003, whom I miss dearly,
for he was the one to first instill an appreciation of my Bolt
heritage. And he gave me life and love...the best gifts of all!
Next, I'd like to dedicate it to my Grandpa, Joe
Bolt. I hope he knows how much I appreciate the genealogy work he
did, along with his erecting markers through the SAR (Sons of the
American Revolution)
Most of all, I'm eternally grateful to my great-aunt, whom I never got
the chance to meet, Margaret "Peggy" Eltinge Bolt. I'm
sure there are plenty of people out there, with Laurens ancestry, who
are grateful for the cemetery transcription books. But I am more
blessed than most, since Peggy was also one of the very first Bolt
researchers. Even better than her Bolt research, are her wonderful
grandchildren, my 2nd cousins.
And now my thanks to all of my cousins...
..there are not words adequate to express my gratitude to all those who
have helped me in my Bolt research, a heartfelt "thank you!"
to you all!
But I would be remiss, if I did not at least mention the three who have
absolutely spoiled me rotten with genealogical treasures, and continue
to put up with me: JD Bolt, MGW and MW Bolt.
With love,
Katherine Hope Bolt-Borges
P.S. Many thanks to DL Bolt, CA Bolt, MW Bolt, JH and LL for your
contributions to boltancestry.com!!
