Elizabeth

Little is known about the first wife of Robert Bolt Sr. It is not even known if she made the trek to their new home in Laurens, South Carolina.

The bible transcription lists Elizabeth as being born on 24 May 1722, and the mother of Robert's children, from Mary through Abraham.

The only other known document where her name appears is in the September 1762 lease between Robert Bolt, and Thomas Lord Fairfax.
Robert Bolt, his wife, Elizabeth and his son John, leased for three lifetimes, 200 acres of land, at 40 shillings per acre.

Robert Bolt descendants have erected a replacement marker to Robert,
which lists Elizabeth, in the John Bolt Esq. Cemetery.
