James Bolt

James' birth is recorded as 3 April 1755 on the bible transcription.  He first appears in Fauquier County courthouse records on 24 May 1773 with brother John, "as indebted to our Lord the King".  An additional charge appears in November of the same year.

James seems to "disappear" from Fauquier County records after that. This may be due to an early death, relocation, or a change in the spelling of the Bolt surname (i.e.: Boult, Bolte, etc.)
