Thomas Parker |
Thomas Parker was born abt. 1768, and married Frances "Frankey" ___. Thomas appears in the 1790 U.S. census, Ninety-six District (Laurens County), South Carolina. His household only includes "2 Free white males of 16 years and upward, including heads of families." The second male may be his brother, James Parker. An interesting item to mention: the name that appears after Thomas in the census is "Hasten Diall". Two of Thomas' sons, Carter and John, married daughters of John Hastings Dial. In 1791, Thomas recorded the following deed to James: Signed Sealed & Delivered in the presence of us Thomas is listed in the 1800 Census of Laurens County with one female between the ages of 0-10, and two females between 16-26. (His wife, Frankey and ???) Thomas died March 22, 1851. Thomas and Frankey are buried in the Parker Cemetery along with at least two of their children, William and Sarah.
