Thomas appears in the 1790 U.S. census, Ninety-six District (Laurens County), South Carolina.  His household only includes "2 Free white males of 16 years and upward, including heads of families."  The second male may be his brother, James Parker.  An interesting item to mention: the name that appears after Thomas in the census is "Hasten Diall".  Two of Thomas' sons, Carter and John, married daughters of John Hastings Dial.
