If you decide to visit any of the above cemeteries in the rural areas of the South, it is recommended that you wear long, protective clothing (or the briars will tear you up) and use plenty of Deet spray to ward off the chiggers, ticks, mosquitoes, etc.  This is especially important in the summer months. The church cemeteries are relatively easy to locate, but the rural cemeteries on private land may present more of a challenge, a local residing cousin may be able to guide you.  One more thing you should check before visiting the rural cemeteries is if it is hunting season.  The John Bolt Esq. Cemetery is located on regularly used hunting grounds. Please e-mail us for more info or to get in touch with a local.
